Division One: Nicholas Greenland of Maclean emerged winner in the top division with a sterling performance against Nicholas Harris of Big River. This was Greenland’s first tournament success at the top level and a fitting reward for the hard training he has been putting in since December.
In Division Two the standard of competition was really tough with Keelan Birch taking another giant step up the ladder as he won a nail biting match against seed, Jordan Salkeld of Lismore 51/50 in overtime. This gave Keelan a crack at the final against Brad Harrison of Coffs Harbour. With little separating the two well into the second half it was only in the last five minutes that Brad gained a break to run out winner 49/42.
Division Three produced yet another close final with the favourites taking a back seat as Connor Herring ousted top seed, Trent Timms of Urunga in a thrilling second round encounter 45/35 and Harrison Phillips outstayed the improving Andrew Ritchie 43/41 to reach the final. Harrison who is a left hander started strongly and kept Connor retrieving from the front court and with time closing to the final bell several errors by Connor gave Harrison a small lead which he held till the bell to win 54/47.
